In fantasy, do you generally prefer a more fantastic setting, or a more realistic setting?
High magic or low magic? Should magic be extremely powerful or more mundane?
Should the world generally resemble Earth, or be more surreal in its landscapes?
Should an author make their own races, or take their own spin on existing mythological beings?
Not that I don't already have my views, but it's more fun than nothing. Go ahead, speak your mind.
