"...Well, I just counted my coins one day and realized I had enough to pay off the barony."
"That's awfully anticlimactic," the bartender joked back upon hearing her explanation. "Maybe we could open a portal to Hell or throw you into the cave of an ancient dragon, so there'd be a more exciting ending to the story?"
"Hah, yeah. Actually, I never expected it, but now that I'm away from it, I'm really itching for another adventure. Strange, when I started off, I would never had guessed that." Landra paused and ran her fingers through her hair as her mind drifted off.
"I wouldn't have guessed you'd be able to wrestle down three ogres with one arm tied behind you when you left, but that doesn't change the fact the you can!" the barmaid laughed back. "Hm, maybe I could go with you next time! It gets awfully dreary around here."
"Hehe. Maybe. But let's get to the feasting and getting rip-roaring drunk shall we?"

Hmm, I think I got a bit mish-mash with the long pauses I had between working on this one. (Don't try to think too hard about how legs work below the counter, the only way it comes close to working is if the big gal is seated. =/)

This marks the end of this little thing at least for now, I suppose.

Like I said, I need to get my stuff back together.
